Scope and Contents
The collection of the Mount Vernon Museum of Incandescent Lighting - approximately 50,000 lighbulbs and lighting fixtures collected by Dr. Hugh Hicks and displayed in his museum/home on Mt. Vernon square, North Charles street. Extensive Light bulb collection along with lighting apparatus and devices. The museum closed in 2002 at the death of founder, Dr. Hicks.
