Old Miscellaneous Files

This collection consists primarily of commercial and industrial real estate promotional brochures with property description. All material in the collection is from the files of Parker Frames, Inc., a loca realty company. The materials covers the time period from 1921-1966 with many of the items not dated. Information on rental fees and sales correspondence addressed to the company's principal, Parker Frames relating to the listing of the properties. The descriptive brochures are from a variety of real estate brokers in Baltimore and New York. A few brochures and clippings that offer WWII defense properties for sale by the War Assets Administration Office of Disposals are included.

Photographs of the properties and buildings are included in the brochures, in a few instances there are photographic prints as well. Most brochures contain building floor plans and/or plat maps. Occasionally, reference is made to businesses and transportation routes in the immediate area of the properties.

The majority of the properties are located in Baltimore County, with Laurel, Beltsville, Havre de Grace, Elk Mills, Mount Airy, Dicksville, and York, PA also represented.
